FAAK AM SEE @ Sick As We Are Open Air Festival

Faak Am See je nastao 2002. godine, a prve pjesme su snimili već godinu poslije kada su sa svoje tri stvari izašli na kompilaciji Brodskih bendova. 2005. godine snimaju split s Krivom Istinom na kojem izdaju svojih 8 novih stvari. Nakon podužeg vremena brđani su uspijeli snimiti i masterizirati i novi album koji izlazi vrlo uskoro – a promociju ćete moći poslušati i u Županji u subotu 17.07. na SAWA Festivalu. Dvije nove stvari možete poslušati i u našem playeru desno od ove najave.

Napravili smo i male izmjene u redoslijedu sviranja po danima pa obratite pažnju na to. One Step Away ipak vraćamo na petak, a u subotu će svirati Faak Am See.

Odbrojavanje do Festivala je krenilo – još samo nešto više od mjesec dana!

Nine Eleven je osnovan 2004., a do sada su snimili četiri izdanja i to redom: Burning Fight / Intruder / Nine Eleven – Split (CD – 2005), King For A Day…Ghost For A Lifetime (CD – 2006), Use Your Disillusion (CD – 2007), City Of Quartz (CD – 2009).

Članove benda čine Romain (vokal), Vince (bas gitara), Richard (gitara), Jeff (gitara) i Julien (bubnjevi). Romain, dugogodišnji pjevač Nine Elevena odlazi na jesen tako da je ovo odlična prilika da ih uhvatite u ovom sastavu na Sick As We Are Open Air Festivalu. Dečki nose sa sobom i omanji Distro na kojem ćete moći naći njihova, ali i njima draga izdanja, majice i dr. Iz razloga što je Nine Eleven na turneji i odgovara im prvi dan – One Step Away smo prebacili na drugi dan Festivala – u subotu.

Harry @ Sick As We Are 2010 Festival, Croatia (Županja)

Nakon što su nas oduševili uigranim i energičnim nastupom u veljači ove godine, slovenski trojac Harry nam dolazi i na Sick As We Are Open Air Festival. U istom su sastavu od početka svog djelovanja već 8 godina, a bend čine: Simon Mislej – bubanjevi, David Božič – bas i vokal, te Matej Likar – gitara i vokal.

Kako na Festival pozivamo samo provjerene bendove, tako se i Harry našao na playlisti za Sick As We Are 2010. Uz ostale bendove, nastupit će prvog dana Festivala – 16.07.2010. kao uvertira za odličan headlnerski nastup Another Breatha (USA).

O ovom bendu se i ne piskara nešto po Internetu, ali oni koji prate scenu sigurno znaju o kome je riječ. U Županju nam dolaze po prvi put, a sve nakon AntiFA koncerta u MonteParadisu kada su rasturili uživo. Ne sumnjamo da će tako biti i u Županji u subotu, drugog dana Sick As We Are Open Air Festivala. Album “U Šumi Drijeva Falidu” iz 2005.g. možete skinuti ispod video materijala među linkovima.

O ovom bendu se i ne piskara nešto po Internetu, ali oni koji prate scenu sigurno znaju o kome je riječ. Dečki iz One Step Away sviraju već 10tak godina, i kroz njih su mijenjali nekoliko puta postavu – a trenutno sviraju u postavi: Kizo – bas/vokal, Bobo – gitara, Cole – gitara/back vokal, Kuhar – bubnjevi.

U Županju nam dolaze po prvi put, a sve nakon AntiFA koncerta u MonteParadisu kada su rasturili uživo. Ne sumnjamo da će tako biti i u Županji u subotu, drugog dana Sick As We Are Open Air Festivala. Album “U Šumi Drijeva Falidu” iz 2005.g. možete skinuti ispod video materijala među linkovima.

Odlični svirači, slovenski Bed Religion tribute bend postoji nešto više od dvije godine. U početku su svirali samo za svoj gušt, a onda su ih brojni prijatelji ohrabrivali da nastave svirati zbog svoje odlične izvedbe najvećih hitova Bad Religiona

Bend čine odlični svirači iz raznih hardcore/punk bendova iz Slovenije: Simon Mislej – bubnjevi, Matej Likar – bas gitara / back vokal, Aljosa Todorovic – gitara, Gasper Cernigoj – gitara/vokal, David Bozic – vokal. Obećali su nam odličnu zabavu nakon Pasa u subotu uz brojne hitove do kasno u noć, a ako je suditi po čuvenom – to uopće nije upitno .

Another Breath @ Sick As We Are 2010, Croatia (Županja)

Izuzetna nam je čast objaviti da nam u goste dolazi, ujedno i headliner prvog dana festivala, Another Breath (New York, USA). Ovaj odličan “straight forward” hardcore bend dolazi na jedini ovoljetni nastup u Hrvatskoj i to na Sick As We Are Open Air Festival.

Nakon nešto više od 3 godine kada su zajedno sa Victimsima nastupili u zagrebačkoj Močvari, Another Breath se vraća u Hrvatsku gdje nam u sklopu svoje trotjedne ovoljetne europske turneje dolazi predstaviti najnovije izdanje “The God Complex (2009)”. Album je nadmašio sve što su dečki do sada snimili – uključujući “Mill City (2006)” i “Not Now, Not Ever (2004)“.

Ukoliko ste čuli za ovaj bend, nemamo vam što više objašnjavati, a za svim ostalima poručujemo – dođite i poslušajte. Preživljeli će prepričavati ostalima. Zagarantiran odličan i energičan hardcore nastup će im otvoriti Declaration iz Zagreba, uz već najavljene bendove koji nastupaju prvog dana festivala – Kriva Istina (SB) i Socijalna Služba (ZG).

Napominjemo da smo tek na pola festivalskog lineupa (6/12) i da već primamo odlične reakcije. Hvala svima na podršci, drago nam je da Festival ima svoju publiku i ljude koji ga podržavaju. Vidimo se 16.07.2010. u Županji!

Another Breath – Biography (EN):

The summer of 2001 was when it all began. Fresh out of high school, all the bands we were in had all broken up at about the same time. I had heard that Ted, Scott and Bob were jamming out in a trailer home that was in Ted’s backyard, and since Scott and I had been in bands together since we were sophomores, and Ted and I had been friends since 5th grade, I figured I’d show up and try to get involved. After pushing Ted from guitar to vocals and moving myself to guitar from bass, we recruited Sean and that was when college started. It was never anything really serious; we wrote a few songs at school and decided to record four of them at Jack Garrett’s studio and called it the “Yesterday is Gone” demo. We played around with names and one day decided on This Neverender, essentially because we had a show in February of 2002 and had to put something on the flyer. From that show through the November of 2002 we played the same 6 different songs. That got real old, real quick and without any growth in the band or eventually any fun with it, Sean left in September to play with another band and we recruited Matty Garrett as a step in. He clicked well right from the start, but he was really young compared to the rest of us. From November of 2002 through October of 2003 we wrote all the songs on the “not now. not ever.” CD with Matt on bass.

Over those 8 months we played almost no shows. We had grueling practices on the weekends with each of us driving home from college (Oneonta, RIT, U of Buffalo) until summer hit when we practiced 3 times a week. All the while we were saving up tons of cash for the November recording dates we had made with Kurt Ballou at God City Recordings. Paying for your own recording at a well-respected studio without label help, we found out later, was going a bit above and beyond for a band… we’re still proud to say we did it. The band was finally taken seriously and to accommodate practicing and writing we all moved home and transferred to local colleges in the fall of 2003. This new direction pushed us to write songs that we would be comfortable playing for an extended period of time instead of just writing to play shows. After gauging the new seriousness in the band, the new member, and all the new songs we decided to change our name to Another Breath. We felt we had put a new life into the music we were writing and playing. In October of 2003 we lost Matt due to conflicts in time and interest. There are no hard feelings at all and we still love that kid to death. For the God City recording we got Sean to step back in on bass. After returning from the week and a half of recording Sean was back with us full time, setting the current lineup in stone.

We did a small East Coast tour in January of 2004 playing with tons of great bands and meeting amazing people. Shortly after the tour we recorded four songs at Watchmen Studios with Doug White. We had dropped three songs off the God City recording that we weren’t happy with and wanted to make sure they still got released so we did them again and added a cover of Operation Cliff Clavin, a song that really meant a lot to Scott and I. We released those 4 songs as a demo CDR that we planned to sell until we had figured out a label and released the God City recording. We had been talking to Jan at Assault Records since the God City recording about doing a release on his Germany based label and ended up deciding to do the vinyl with him. We wanted the demo to still be around in the future and didn’t want to break up the flow of the “not now. not ever” songs so we decided to put both recordings on an LP, split up by the two different sides or the record. When we were on tour we had given Our Turn a pre-release CD at a show they played with us in Scott’s basement and then we ended up seeing them again in Allentown, PA. They said they were really into the demo and ended up giving it to Kyle at Rival Records. This worked out great because Rival turned out to be a perfect fit in terms of label for us. So here we are.

This band was built on years of friendship, trust, and a love for rock and roll and we hope that comes through in the music we play. – Jon

Bend postoji od 2005. godine i do je sada izdao dva albuma pod imenima “Part One” i “Part Two“. Nakon nekoliko tisuća proputovanih kilometara i koncerata – spremaju nam novi album (koji se neće zvati “Part Three” ) koji izlazi negdje u svibnju 2010. kada se Frekvencija sprema, uz brođane iz Krive Istine, krenuti na već spomenuti “SkoroPaEuroTour”.
